C.J. Masimore

C.J. Masimore joined Driscoll & Redlich in October 2011 after working for five years as an attorney in both private practice and the non-profit sector. Ms. Masimore received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004 where she was Articles Editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law and served as a Henry and Clara Bates Fellow at the European Roma Rights in Budapest, Hungary. She earned a B.A. with Honors from Calvin College in 2001, and was a Presidential Scholar there. Following law school, C.J. served as law clerk for the Hon. Dean Whipple, United States District Judge for the Western District of Missouri.

Following her clerkship, Ms. Masimore joined the litigation department of a major New York City law firm. Three years later, she accepted a position as Senior Staff Attorney for MFY Legal Services, an independent not-for-profit law firm that provides free legal assistance to New York City residents. Ms. Masimore also serves as the Executive Director of Open Hands Legal Services, an organization that provides pro bono legal services to low-income New Yorkers.
